Peru woman accused of providing methadone to investigators

Posted by wlpo on September 10, 2011

Methadone isn’t a drug you kid around with.  A woman from Peru faces a felony drug charge because police say she sold methadone to an undercover cop.

Rebecca Cisek was arrested Friday on a warrant for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.  Police say the sale happened in late July in a parking lot near Washington Park and school.

Cisek was being held in the La Salle County Jail with her bond set at $25,000.

Due to redistricting, all county board seats will be up for re-election.  Also up for reelection next year, County Boar Chairman, Circuit Clerk, Auditor, Coroner, Recorder, and States Attorney.

If you’re considering an Illinois General Assembly Seat you’ll need to visit the State Board of Elections.
