Locked doors, photo IDs on lanyards and a new emergency page system are a few ways Princeton High School officials are beefing up security after a former student arrived with a loaded shotgun.
The school’s website lists 10 updated security measures, including requiring visitors to check in with the main office to receive a pass.
Police say Blake Schmidt was able to enter the school last Wednesday. Police say he was “distraught and emotional” looking but never threatened anyone.
Schmidt’s expected to be arrested on a warrant for felony unlawful use of a weapon once he’s released from a hospital.
