Water Starting To Flow Again At YMCA Pools

Posted by wlpo on November 1, 2011

Pools at the Illinois Valley YMCA should be back open for business by the end of the week.

The Illinois Department of Public Health gave the Y a needed permit Friday to start the process of reopening the aquatic center.  The YMCA pools were closed last month along with many others across the state because of suction issues.

The Y’s therapy pool is expected to be open again by Thursday with the lap pool and water park area back open this weekend.
