PALATINE, Ill. (AP) – U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk and Illinois Republican Party chairman Pat Brady are touring the Chicago suburbs as the GOP’s statewide straw poll nears its end.
Kirk and Brady plan to visit presidential straw poll voting sites in cities like Palatine, Arlington Heights, Libertyville, Lemont and Downers Grove. They’ll end Saturday night in downtown Chicago where the party will announce the official results.
