Crooks are always coming up with new ways to use your stolen credit card information. Three women arrested Sunday outside of the Wal-Mart Super Center in Ottawa are accused of re-encoding gift cards with stolen credit card numbers.
Police say the women then used the fraudulent gift cards to buy more gift cards. Investigators also believe they used the gift cards at the Peru Wal-Mart.
Daquator Lane and Kahdijah Terry of Chicago and Diamond Jones of Maywood each face a felony charge of unlawful use of a credit card. Terry was also accused of obstructing identification.
They were taken to the La Salle County Jail.
