Man arrested for home invasion in rural Sheridan

The weekend was anything but quiet in rural Sheridan where police were called for an unwanted visitor with a gun.

Roy Day of Millington was arrested for home invasion after allegedly busting into someone’s house. Day was taken to the La Salle County Jail.

The La Salle County Sheriff’s office and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services are investigating.
