Illinois Valley funeral home offers help with holiday grieving

If you’re having a rough time with lost loved ones during the holidays, try spending time with others who are in the same boat.

The Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle is hosting its 9th annual Holiday Remembrance Program Sunday from noon until two. It’s a forum in which families can come together to express grief but also find peace. The funeral home will offer families a glass Guardian Angel ornament personalized with the name and dates of their loved one.
