Hall HS rededicating WWII Memorial Friday

Posted by wlpo on November 6, 2016

In Spring Valley,  a 48-year old World War II Memorial granite stone and plaque – made possible by a civic minded Boy Scout –  will be rededicated this Friday.  The Hall High School World War II Memorial was originally a grove of trees planted for 24 former students that lost their lives in military service. The stone and plaque memorial was erected in 1968 – the civic project of Boy Scout Kim Cabodi.

Cabodi will be on hand this Friday at Hall High School  to speak as the school stone and plaque are relocated to the new Memorial Plaza with 24 new trees.  The public is invited to join Hall High School’s administration, faculty, staff and students in the rededication starting at 10am.
