Trial for Peru Man Accused of Having Child Pornography Set for January
Posted by wlpo on October 18, 2016
The case involving a Peru man who allegedly had child pornography in his possession won’t be heard by a jury until 2017.
James Einhaus appeared in court for the first time with his lawyer on Friday. There, the 28-year old pled “not guilty” to the two counts of possession of child pornography against him. The charges came after police searched his home late last month, leading to his arrest.
Einhaus appeared in court out of custody, having come up with the $5,000 needed to be released. He’s due back in court December 29th, with a jury trial set to start in January.
