Kaskaskia Hotel progress on agenda for La Salle City Council

Is enough progress being made at the Kaskaskia to have La Salle city leaders back off on litigation?

Representatives with the Kaskaskia Development group will be at Monday night’s La Salle City Council and give a presentation about work that’s being done to fix up the old downtown hotel. A website called “kaskaskiaproject.com” features drawings and talks about restoring the Kaskaskia to a “boutique hotel, events and conference center, offering its guests the finest in service, surroundings and Midwest hospitality”.

The city has put pressure on owners of the building by taking them to court.
