Standard man lawyers up in his case that’s related to the death of Deborah Dewey

Posted by wlpo on September 24, 2016

The man accused of concealing the body of Deb Dewey is seeking the services of a Peoria law firm.

Parker & Parker will represent 66-year-old Clifford Andersen as he faces a felony charge of concealment of a homicidal death. Andersen’s October 13th court date in Hennepin has now been pushed back until November 29th.

Andersen is accused of taking the body of Dewey, wrapping it up using a blanket, tarp, and duct tape, and burying it in a shallow grave. State Police say they found the body at a property along Route 71 in Standard.

Andersen remains in custody on $750,000 bond.
