Schools warn parents and students of man trying to entice a Seneca student into his car

Posted by wlpo on September 13, 2016

Schools across the Illinois Valley are on high alert after an incident in Seneca.

Back on Monday, Seneca Police were told that a high school student was approached by a man in an older tan car who asked the girl if she knew a “Calvin.” When she told him no, he’s accused of asking her to get in his car and help find “Calvin.” The girl instead ran away.

There have been similar things happening in Minooka and Channahon. The man inside the car was described as having dark hair and possible facial hair.

If you have any information, call the Seneca Police Department at 357-8726.
