Visitor numbers light at Starved Rock Saturday

Was it “one of those days” at Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks Saturday?. A Starved Rock Visitors Center employee told “Classic Hits 103-9 WLPO” 11-thousand were in Starved Rock State Park Saturday and about 3000 in Matthiessen.
Traffic into Utica and the 2 parks appeared to move along without snarling Sunday.
