Imagine finding out more than 50,000 gallons of water were used at your house when you thought it was empty.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation is ongoing after 45-year old Ronald Radnovich of Mendota filed a theft report. Radnovich says between January and March of this year, 57,000 gallons of water were used at a home in Oswego which had not been occupied at the time, according to police.

The Sheriff’s Office report lists the claim as a “theft over $500.” Police are diving into an investigation based on the report.
