Popular electronics drop-off planned in Streator

If you live in Streator it’s time to round up all your old electronics including TVs. The city is hosting a household electronics recycling day on Saturday, August 13th.

If you have a Streator address, you can drop off up to three TVs or monitors along with printers, cameras, and cell phones from 8 until 1 at the Public Works’ storage yard on North Iowa Avenue. Police officers will be directing traffic during the recycling drop off.

To drop electronics off, be ready to show a driver’s license and a city bill with your Streator address. Businesses aren’t allowed to drop electronics off.
