School in Spring Valley will open its doors to avoid the heat

If you need a place to escape the heat, Hall High School is an option.
The school will be open as a cooling center Thursday and Friday from 11 until 6. The cafeteria and upper gym will be open.
An excessive heat watch is in effect both Thursday and Friday with daytime highs in the mid-90s.
