Posted by wlpo on July 6, 2016

What kind of day will it be on Illinois Valley interstates today? Tuesday was a mess.

The action started after 6 in the morning when a tanker rolled into the median on Interstate 39 north of Lostant. The driver was taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital and then flown to Peoria.

Then at around 11 Tuesday morning, police and paramedics were out on Interstate 80 for a two-vehicle crash just east of La Salle. At least one person was taken to IVCH.

Shortly after 4 Tuesday afternoon, a military Humvee flipped near the Oglesby exit on Interstate 39. Three people from that accident were taken to IVCH.
