Work behind schedule on busy Princeton rail crossing

Posted by wlpo on July 5, 2016

Work on a busy railroad crossing in Princeton isn’t done and that’s not sitting well with the mayor.

The Main Street or Route 26 BNSF crossing was closed last week for repairs. The work was supposed to be done in a week but it’s not. In fact according to Princeton Mayor Joel Quiram, the crossing is just as bad if not worse then before work began.

Quiram says the state has told him they will be back either this week or next to finish the work. If there are issues Quiram says the city will call the railroad and state to voice concerns.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
