Homeless woman charged in fatal collision in Princeton

One woman is dead while another sits in jail after a fatal collision late Sunday night.

Thirty-one-year-old April Williams of Princeton died after she was flown to OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She allegedly was hit walking from a party by 23-year-old Haylee Miller who is considered homeless. The crash happened on the west side of Princeton near the Hillview Mobile Home Park.

Miller is charged with leaving the scene of an accident that led to death. She is currently in the Bureau County Jail needing $5,000 to bond out.

Miller is due back in court July 15th.
