Shed and barn fires break out in La Salle County

Not only were there a lot of crashes this weekend but fires also plagued the Illinois Valley.

On Saturday afternoon, a barn caught fire not far from Grand Ridge. The barn was leveled in the blaze. Firefighters from four different departments helped fight the fire.

Early Sunday morning a shed burned in rural Cedar Point. A farmer woke up and found his shed in flames. Burnt inside the shed were several tractors including antique models.
