Raikes and Jensen keep county leadership roles

Apparently Democrats and Republicans in La Salle County are happy with local leadership.

Conventions were held Wednesday night to elect chairpersons for both parties in La Salle County. Rocky Raikes was re-elected as chairman of the La Salle County Democratic Committee while Don Jensen was re-elected as chairman of the La Salle County GOP Committee.

Next up for Jensen is trying to unseat Democrat Jerry Hicks as the La Salle County Board chairman.
