Posted by wlpo on April 14, 2016

Each month in 2016 has seen more video gaming in Illinois than the month before. Illinoisans put almost $40 million dollars more into machines in March than February.

Ottawa extended its lead over Streator for the most video gaming action last month in the Illinois Valley. A little less than $1.9 million was put into Ottawa machines while a little over $1.7 million dollars went into Streator machines.

Also in the million-dollar club when it comes to video gaming in the Illinois Valley are La Salle and Peru. More than $1.5 million was wagered in Peru last month while La Salle was just shy of $1.3 million.

Princeton fell just shy of a million dollars, with a little more than $900,000 wagered.
