Girls Scouts partner with library to help the homeless

There are more reasons to love the Girl Scouts other than delicious cookies.
The scout pack based in Marseilles is now collecting toys, books and clothes on behalf of the Illinois Valley PADS shelter and the Salvation Army. They’ve set up drop-off boxes for donations at the Marseilles Public Library.
Some of the donations n the shelter’s “wish list” include cleaning supplies, aspirin, cereal, and baby food.
