College basketball team remembers Lily Rosploch

If you’re still looking for a college basketball team to root for going into “March Madness”, how about Western Michigan University?
The Bronco players Saturday wore purple socks while their coaches all wore purple ties honoring the late Lily Rosploch of La Salle. WMU’s coach Steve Hawkins got to know Lily’s dad Mike while they were together at Quincy University. Lily had hoped to go to a basketball game before she died a little over a year ago at the age of 5 due to cancer.
Besides the purple socks and ties, the university played a touching video about Lily and her families’ relationship with Western Michigan’s coach. You can check out the video by clicking Rosploch WMU Video
