Cornbelt Energy finishes repairs
Posted by wlpo on December 31, 2015
Corn Belt Energy expects all customers affected by Monday’s storm to have power by sometime Thursday night. Steve Hancock oversees electrical distribution. In a release late Thursday morning, Hancock said those still needing electricity are individuals or small groups. To help them, several hours of repair work would be needed.
Assisting Cornbelt were 4 other cooperatives and the cities of Geneseo and Princeton. CornBelt reminds everyone to always treat a downed power line as if it is energized.
