A traffic stop on Route 71 near I-80 just before 11 Friday night ended badly for Jeffrey Smith of Marseilles.  The 39 year old man got felony tickets for driving while his license is revoked and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and then things went from bad to worse.  After Smith was taken to the LaSalle County jail he got two more felony tickets for allegedly fighting with and biting deputies.  Smith’s bond will be set Sunday.
