Police chase involving a motorcycle ends in a crash near Marseilles

A motorcyclist was flown to Peoria after wiping out east of Marseilles.

Troy Folkerts of Joliet crash just after midnight Monday morning along a county road. He was initially taken to the hospital in Ottawa before being flown to Peoria. No word yet on his condition.

Deputies say Folkerts was running from the law. Before crashing, he was being chased by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office.
