Posted by wlpo on September 20, 2015

A 33-year old convicted burglar finds himself out of work and in jail again. 33-year old Mason Hass was arrested last week on felony charges. Authorities believe he is at the center of about 30 business, residential and car burglaries the last several months in LaSalle, Bureau and Marshall Counties.

After interviews and a search of a Peru home, investigators executed a search warrant in Spring Valley, leading to Hass’s arrest. He is being held on $100,000 thousand dollars bond. He was on parole after serving prison time for residential burglary in LaSalle County back in 2012. LaSalle police say additional charges may be pending and more arrests could be made in those burglaries.
