There’s a new chief in town in Utica.
According to the NewsTribune, Jay Stachowiak has been named the village’s new police chief. He’s been with the village’s police force for nine years. Stachowiak also has over 20 years’ experience with the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office.
He replaces Mark Wren as police chief. Wren died in May after a battle with cancer.
