Police use social networks to ID suspects

Posted by wlpo on July 18, 2015

Peru Police go to on-line social networks again to identify 2 persons. The post to the Peru Police Facebook page was made about 4pm Saturday and shows several pictures of the two apparently standing in a Peru store. Looking at the pictures, the two could be in their 20’s. It appears the man is wearing a multi colored strip shirt and pants, while the woman may have a pony-tail, green top and pants. The pictures are posted on the “Classic Hits 103-9 WLPO”, 99-3 WAJK and 96-5 The WOLF Facebook pages. Police did not state a reason for their interest or any information about a crime. If you have information that can help, you’re asked to call Peru Police…or if you prefer to stay anonymous, call I V Crimestoppers at 1-800-340-4045.
