Railroad improvements will bring “huge inconvenience” to Ottawa drivers

Replacing a train crossing in Ottawa will create a traffic mess.

CSX Railroad plans on replacing its crossing on Columbus Street just south of the Wendy’s and Shell station in August. When the work is going on, all lanes of Columbus Street will be closed. You’ll be detoured around on side streets.

It’s supposed to take around a week to replace the crossing.
