Crash south of Earlville sends one person to hospital

Faulty brakes could’ve caused a crash that injured a driver south of Earlville.

William Williams of LaMoille was on a county road Friday afternoon when he says his brakes acted up at an intersection, causing a collision with Eric Pillash of Streator. Williams was taken to St. Paul Medical Center while Pillash wasn’t hurt.

Williams was ticketed for driving uninsured and disobeying a traffic control device.
