The Oglesby Fire Department is asking your help with the ongoing investigation of the house fire in Oglesby last Saturday.

Fire chief Ron Popurella has asked anyone with photos or videos taken at the scene before emergency responders arrived to share them with the fire department.

Update on the hit and run in Spring Valley

If you’ve been following the story of a hit and run in Spring Valley, investigators say they found the car involved but are still looking for the driver.

Officers say they know who the driver is and are seeking an arrest warrant through the Bureau County State’s Attorney’s Office. The unnamed suspect is accused of crashing into 26-year-old Kyle Daly who was walking along Route 89 south of Route 6 Sunday morning.

Daly is in serious condition at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
