Outdoor burning not suggested with low humidity and gusty winds

Posted by wlpo on April 22, 2015

If you get bored on Earth Day, please find something else besides outdoor burning to pass the time.

The National Weather Service says gusty northwest winds coupled with low humidity increases the danger of fires Wednesday afternoon. Winds could whip up to 35 miles per hour.

While gusty winds is the weather story during the day, frost is part of Wednesday night’s forecast with an overnight low dipping to near freezing.
