Marshall County Board wants Aaron Schock to pay up

Posted by wlpo on April 13, 2015

Elections aren’t cheap and former Congressman Aaron Schock is being asked to foot the bill.

The Marshall County Board voted Thursday to send Schock a letter asking him to reimburse the county for costs of a primary and special election later this year to find his replacement. The estimated bill is $76,000.

Schock used to represent Marshall County in Congress before he resigned last month due to alleged misuse of taxpayer money.
