Not a complete shake up in store for Ottawa High School Board

Posted by wlpo on April 7, 2015

It wasn’t the sweep that some hoped for in the election for Ottawa High School Board.

Former building trades teacher Dave Keely campaigned along with Andree-Marie Koban and Rich Gama to “shake up” the school board. Keely and Koban will get the chance to make things happen but Gama was beaten out for the third seat by former Ottawa High School custodian John Levy. Keely got 21 percent of the vote to lead the way.

There was also a race for three seats on the Ottawa Elementary School Board. Mary Ganiere, Steve Omolecki and Kurt Stevenson won the spots with Steven Wiggins falling short.
