Fundraiser, a victim of theft?
Posted by wlpo on February 22, 2015
The LaSalle Rotary Park wine tasting benefit raised $5000 Friday night at Seneca’s. That from Alissa Gearhart, Rotary Park Board member. Gearhart was happy with the results – except for one thing. Gearhart claims 3 unnamed people made off with a two tier cake they did not rightfully win.
The multi color cake had a silhouette and the words Rotary Park on it. The winning bidder paid $200 but got no cake. No charges have been filed, however, Gearhart, who is an attorney, has a picture of the three and other information.
