Few inches of fresh snow blankets the Illinois Valley
Posted by wlpo on January 12, 2015
Not a lot of snow fell in the past 24 hours but it was enough to break out the shovel.
According to the National Weather Service, over three inches fell in Amboy with over two inches falling in Princeton. Places like Mendota, La Salle, Ottawa, Streator and Marseilles had between one to two inches of snow.
There’s no snow predicted for the rest of the week.
