Recap of snowfall totals in the Illinois Valley

How much snow fell in your back yard? According to the National Weather Service, 6.5 inches fell in the last 24 hours in Marseilles. That was the highest amount in the coverage area of the Chicago weather service office.
Around 5 inches fell in La Salle, Oglesby and Ottawa. Earlville, Mendota and Morris all saw about 4 inches.
