A burglary in Streator leaves two teens arrested

Posted by wlpo on November 1, 2014

A burglary investigation in Streator has an 18-year-old man charged with residential burglary.  Police say it began in early September as an investigation into money stolen from the Streator High School concessions fund.

Police arrested a 16-year-old boy two days after the burglary.  A friend of the boy, Jonathan Watts, was arrested Thursday for the burglary.  Police says more charges of burglary and credit card fraud have been sent to the La Salle County States Attorney Office.

Watts was taken to the county.  His bond hearing was Friday.
