Rash affects some LP students

Posted by wlpo on September 11, 2014

There’s a health scare going around L-P High School.

Superintendent Steve Wrobleski delivered a recorded phone message to L-P parents Thursday night telling them of a break out of rashes at the school. Because of it the campus is getting an extensive cleaning this weekend. Wrobleski says as of now the problem is contained to just a few and its nothing more than a skin rash.

The district is working with Illinois Valley Community Hospital and the La Salle County Health Department. Wrobleski is urging coaches and PE teachers to tell students not to share towels, razors or deodorant. All students are being told to bring home their PE clothes this weekend.
