Spring Valley Police to host the National Night Out
Posted by wlpo on August 3, 2014
National Night Out is about community safety and awareness but for the children that go to it, it’s about free food and games.
National Night Out is recognized in towns across the country. In Spring Valley, the police department sponsors the annual evening of swimming, hot dogs and safety demonstrations at Kirby Park.
Activities begin at 5pm Tuesday at the Spring Valley Pool where kids can swim for free until 6pm. You will also be able to check out the Lifeflight helicopter. There will also be a bounce-house, displays by local police departments, games and child safety seat checks.
