Concerts for a Cause arrives

“Mother Nature” seems to like the idea of an outdoor concert Sunday at the Illinois Valley Regional Airport in Peru. It’s one of Lou’s Lagrotto “Concerts for a Cause”.
Thomas Rhett takes the stage at 8pm, preceded by Cole Swindell at 6:15pm. Rhett is known for such hits as “Get Me Some of That” and “It Goes Like This”. Swindell drew fans in with a song called “Chill’in It”.
Opening acts include Brushville at 3:30pm and Drew Baldridge at 5pm. Gates open at 2pm.
Ttickets are $50. Stop by and meet 96.5 The Wolf’s morning guy, Rob Edwards and Jaimie London. You’ll also have the chance to win tickets to next weekend’s Country Life Music Festival in Peoria. A portion of today’s proceeds go to Lostant Elementary School.
