Run in Ladd raising money to battle colon cancer

It should be a beautiful day for a run in Ladd.
The fifth annual Get Your Rear in Gear 5K run/walk is Saturday. Registration starts at 7 with the walk/run starting at 9 at the Ladd Community Center.
Hundreds of people are expected to take part and raise money to fight colon cancer. All the money stays local. Last year over $12,000 was raised and donated to Illinois Valley Community Hospital, St. Margaret’s Hospital and the Bureau County Health and Wellness Center.
