Groups seek help with fundraisers

    It costs money to put on a good fireworks show. The Streator fireworks committee is serving chicken or spagetti at a fundraiser 4 – 7pm today at the VFW, across from the city park. The cost is $9 and carryouts are available.

     When you’re battling Stage 4 cancer….you need friends. Single Mom Debbie Mallory has Stage 4 Lung/Liver cancer and has raised 2 daughters. “Right Spice Supper Club” in Peru,  Mallory’s employer,  is fundraising today to help her with expenses. You’re invited to stop by until 8 for music, food, wine and a silent auction. Tickets are $20.
