LPHS students spend the night at Howard Fellows Stadium

Posted by wlpo on May 12, 2014

Howard Fellows Stadium at LP is a great place to watch football. For one night at least it was also a place for a sleepover.  Over a dozen students with LP’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes slept overnight Saturday on the football field as part of “Stadium Stay”. The students received a brief taste of what its like to be homeless.

During the night they heard from speakers like Carol Alcorn with PADS homeless shelter, had a light dinner and played games. Some of the students put together cardboard boxes to sleep in.
