Hot dogs and hot chocolate to be served at Mckinley Park Saturday

The weekend will bring an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors without facing dangerous wind chills.  In Peru you’ll find a Community Family Fun Day at McKinley Park.  It was Alderman Rodney Perez’s idea.

You’ll find ice skating and sledding from 12pm-3pm Saturday.  Hot chocolate and hot dogs will be served.  Perez says city employees have been trying to keep the ice in good shape.  Bring your own sled and skates.
