Heroin and crack cocaine arrests in Peru
Posted by wlpo on October 19, 2013
Heroin isn’t limited to just some communities in the Illinois Valley. An undercover investigation by TRIDENT left two people arrested for drugs Thursday.
Police say Matthew Hazlewood, Jr. of Peru sold heroin to someone working with the police. And they say a woman that was there, Cara Roberts of Peru had crack cocaine.
Hazlewood was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance while Roberts was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Both were taken to the La Salle County Jail.
