L-P Looking At Unbalanced Budget

More students, higher healthcare costs and decreased state funding has the budget for LP High School off balance.

The school board plans to spend nearly $16 million before the school year ends. Most of that money will come out of the education fund.

The school is receiving less money from the state and property taxes. But Superintendent Steve Wrobleski says they have cut costs by $500,000 from last year’s budget.  The budget was approved Wedneday.
