Oglesby Woman Hurt After Allegedly Running A Stop Sign

Two-way stop intersections can lead to accidents.  That’s the case with a fender bender last evening in Peru.

Officers say Rachel Dose of Oglesby was driving on Rock Street towards the 7^th Street intersection when she collided with Donna Wahlstrom of La Salle.  Dose and her SUV ended up driving through a yard, over a city street sign before hitting a tree head on.  Dose was taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.

She was ticketed for disobeying a stop sign.  Wahlstrom wasn’t hurt.
